They're planning an incinerator for my home town.
While you would expect me to say this, I think it's the right idea but in the wrong place. People better-qualified than me in these matters tend to agree, which is why they successfully helped King's Lynn fight off a similar proposal, just a few miles up the road.
With a pandemic refusing to leave us, however, it hasn't been the best time to stir up public opinion in other arenas of debate.
So forget health and the environment, I figured (though it pains me to be so dismissive of either). What might get a few heads to turn and stay turned, as they passed my window?
Money. Shamefully as always. Tell people how this thing could hit their wallets and purses and you might just mobilise an audience.
